Attorney Mobility: A Comparative Study

The study reviews the regulation of attorney mobility, in the United States. The study examines whether an attorney must inform firms’ clients about his departure, or is it necessary first to notify the firm before any contact is made with the clients. The study discusses when such an announcement is fair and what are the legal grounds against attorneys in such cases. The examination is made on a federal level as well as on the national one, with references to essential case law and the primary literary sources regulating this issue.
