The study examines the structure of the pharmaceutical in the infusion market for the elderly, by examining the structure and extent of demand for drugs in the market. The paper refers to the size of the elderly population over the years and to the estimated disability among this population. The paper examines the establishments that are in charge of the treatment of patients with disabilities, and the scope of infusion medicine in nursing homes.
Lastly, the study examines the extent of the intake of IV drugs in major geriatric institutions and the mechanism for the purchase of such drugs.
