Regulation of Administrative Functions in the National Electrical System

The study examines the regulation which governs the conduct of the electrical system administration agencies in a verity of western states. All the states chosen went through a privatization of the energy market, however most of them still exhibit some patterns of concentration. The main question of the study is to explore the regulation applied to the agency, its authority and its relationships with energy corporations. Farthermore, the study reviews a verity of strategies in managing with potential conflict of interest – between the agency and other entities, and the means in which long term strategies are executed. The study includes an analysis of the regulation in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, California, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and Turkey.
