The Duty to Maintain a Vision Test as Part of the Renewal of a Driver’s License: A Comparative Study, June 2018

The study was conducted for a retail chain in the field of optics and hearing.
The research analyses from a comparative perspective the existence of a legal requirement to conduct a visual examination for license holders, when renewing their license. The study has also examined the frequency in which drivers are required to renew their license, and to perform a vision test, depending on their age.

The study included a long list of countries, including: Australia; New Zealand; South Africa; The United States (Nevada; Maryland; Maine; New Jersey; Pennsylvania); Canada (Ontario); Italy; England; Spain; Belgium; The Netherlands and France.
